Our Affiliation
The Franciscan Brothers of Mercy is not affiliated with any particular denomination but desires to be broadly evangelical and available to everyone who can affirm our theological statement of faith and the “Evangelical Celebration” found on our web-site.
The Franciscan Brothers of Mercy submits to the counsel and spiritual direction of several men of different Protestant denominations, men who serve as Pastors, Chaplains and leaders in their particular churches or parachurch ministries.
Our Servants
Serving the FBM as Chaplain and Web-Administrator is Ron Nelson. Ron is 59 years old, married and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Kuyper College (formerly Reformed Bible College) and a Master of Divinity Degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, SBC.
Ron is the pastor of Amazing Grace Community Church in Grapeview, Washington agrace.org as well as a Fire Department Chaplain for the Bremerton Fire Department where he served as a firefighter for 34 years.
Also Serving the FBM as Director of Spiritual Formation is Brother John English.
